Sunday Kids’ First Moves Beginner Chess Class

Beginner-friendly chess class for kids ages 6–16! Learn rules, tactics, and strategies in a fun, structured environment.

Throughout this program, students may explore: *Learning the chessboard and piece movements *Understanding checks, checkmates, and stalemates *Developing opening principles and good habits *Recognizing tactical patterns like forks, pins, and skewers Strengthening planning, decision-making, and critical thinking *Building confidence through fun, interactive practice games.

Payment must be made in advance or at the location 5 minutes early. Pricing: $25 cash / $30 digital / $90 for 4 classes
