Friday Homeschool Teens 13-16 Advanced Beginners Power Moves Chess Class

Your teen, ages 13-16, will learn how to start their games with strong moves, practice thinking ahead, and discover simple tricks that make chess more fun and exciting!

Strategy & Tactics for Intermediate Players! After building the basics in the Beginner Foundations class, teens move into a deeper understanding of the game. This session focuses on beginner-friendly strategies and step-by-step planning to help teens think ahead and make stronger moves. Teens will explore: *Opening principles and how to start the game with a plan, *Tactical patterns like forks, pins, and discovered attacks, *How to spot threats and opportunities during a game & *Decision-making skills to build confidence at the board.

Payment must be made in advance or at the location 5 minutes early. Pricing: $20 cash / $25 digital / $80 for 4 classes
